Rates of Exchange, Un-Compared: Contemporary Art in Bangkok and Phnom Penh presents a booth at Art Stage Singapore art fair. The booth includes a text introduction to the project, as well as Phnom Penh Visions, a collaborative project initiated by Pen Sereypagna.
We also present a panel discussion titled “Phnom Penh and Bangkok: The Art of Cities, Un-Compared”, featuring talks by Bangkok-based artist Orawan Arunrak and Phnom Penh-based architect and urbanist Pen Sereypagna, introduced by Bangkok-based co-curator Brian Curtin and with Q&A discussion moderated by Singapore-based urban geographer Esther Rootham. More information about the panel discussion online here. This event is co-convened by Roger Nelson and Brian Curtin as part of Art Stage Singapore’s ARTnews Talks Series.
This will be Pen Sereypagna’s and Orawan Arunrak’s first visit to Singapore, one week ahead of the opening of the Rates of Exchange, Un-Compared exhibition at SA SA BASSAC which concludes this six (plus+) month project.
